In his decades of practicing as a solicitor Peter has represented thousands of clients across the range of criminal, traffic law and apprehended violence orders -  from speeding offences to the most serious cases including charges of murder.

Peter often has matters in the Local Court in Orange, Bathurst and Blayney and the District Court in Orange and Bathurst. He is experienced in conducting cases in the Local Court, Children's Court and District Court, including appeals from the Local Court to the District Court. He also attends numerous other courts including at Cowra, Parkes, Forbes, Lithgow and Wellington.

• Traffic law - drink driving/ PCA, licence suspension appeals, driver licence disqualification removals, speeding, negligent driving, driving whilst suspended or disqualified, driving with drugs in system, heavy vehicle (HVNL) offences, regulatory offences

• Apprehended violence orders (apprehended domestic violence orders/ ADVOs and apprehended personal violence orders/ APVOs) - applying for an apprehended violence order, defending an apprehended violence order, varying an apprehended violence order, revoking an apprehended violence order

Peter has practiced in these areas of law for his entire career, including over 20 years at Legal Aid almost exclusively in the area of criminal law. 

Peter has extensive experience representing clients in family law proceedings, including for parents seeking that their children live with them or spend time with them, for property proceedings and for divorce proceedings. Peter represents clients in the care jurisdiction of the Children's Court. 

Peter has extensive experience of civil proceedings, including debt recovery and property damage claims.
